It is not at all simple and easy to remain on a very good writing plan but I want to get it to be disciplined. With any luck , in the long run I will be able to post on this site even more frequently. At this time I need to provide you with a cool post I stumbled upon on tire chains. It really is to some extent useful.

Grand Junction, CO (PRWEB) February 23, 2005

JNK Products, LLC, A leading online retailer of garage flooring products announced today the release of its new Heavy Duty Special Edition Park Smart Clean Park Containment Mat. The new product differs from products currently on the market that it is 150% thicker.

Unlike standard garage flooring products, the new special edition mat is designed to contain water, snow, ice and debris that you may bring into the garage with your vehicle. While there are many containment mats on the market, this product combines the thickness of traditional garage flooring with the edges needed to contain fluid and debris.

The new heavy duty containment mat features a black mat with red print and edges. The edges are installed in 2 foot increments, allowing the end user to trim the mat down to the required size. According to the manufacturer “We have finally bridged the gap between form and function. Now we can offer the most meticulous homeowner an ultra heavy-duty containment mat that will truly enhance the appearance of any garage”.

Â?For three years we have had to ask our customers to settle for a thick garage flooring product or a containment mat. We are excited to be launching this new special edition mat because it allows us to give our customers a heavy duty mat, that will stand up to snow tires and chains, while still containing water on all four sidesÂ? Explained Justin Krauss, Operations Manager for JNK Products, LLC. Â?We are also thrilled that we are able to ship the product FedEx anywhere in the continental United States at no additional chargeÂ? continued Krauss

Quite a few days and nights can be just simply significantly better when compared with the rest. This is one of those times. I am finally getting into a constant publishing itinerary. Currently I observed some interesting articles I wish to share with you. This content about tire chains made me happy. This evening was currently going good for me nonetheless so with any luck , this write-up gets to you in a good state of mind too.

Tires Chains, Do not Hit the Mountains Without Them

California is known for its beaches, laid back approach to life, and also has some great Ski Resorts. Its pretty amazing being able to eat breakfast by the beach and then be able to carve up some snow covered mountains all in the same day. This article documents a snowboarding trip that I took with a friend of mine, one that taught me the necessity of a good pair of tire chains.

Body:
The snow in California can get pretty heavy in well-known ski areas like Mammoth and Lake Tahoe. In the better ski areas, you would most likely bring tire chains because the sheriffs at the bottom of the hill won’t let you drive up without them. So whether you drive a 4 door sedan or a souped-up F150, you would most likely bring a set of chains to keep your tires from sliding.

          ]]>

There are a few popular mountains in the Southern California area that jet up amidst the southern valley. Both Bear Mountain and Mountain High are frequented by all walks of skiers and snowboarders every year. The snow isn’t as soft, and many times man-made. These mountains are convenient for the average ski-goer that only has to drive a few hours away to hit the slopes.

When it comes to preparation for mountainous conditions, many that go to Bear Mountain and Mountain High forget that the weather can get harsh and snow storms can certainly happen atop the mountain.

I made that mistake. I went on a Saturday day trip to Mountain High, on a perfectly sunny day. It was so warm that I wore a T-shirt throughout the whole day riding. Once the sun starting coming down and it got closer to night, my friend and I took our last ride and hopped in his Ford Ranger for our drive back home.

The sky quickly filled with grey and it began to snow heavily. Being unprepared, inexperienced skiers, we didn’t have any snow chains with us. My friends Ranger was sliding all over the road, on virtually every turn! We ended up taking a “scenic route” to get home and luckily made it back to San Diego after an extremely slow drive down the mountain since we didn’t have tire chains.

So the next time you hit the mountains, even if tire chains aren’t required, I highly recommend bringing a pair. Thule makes great chains & thule roof racks, I recommend checking their products out as they are a well-known brand.

Question by PreacherTim63(SFECU): This is not a bash to anyone in anyway, but Im curious. I see people answering questions in this section?
all the time, and saying things like “i get tired of having other people shove religion on me”…. has it occured to you that your in the religion and spirituality section? That any response you recieve is going to be along those lines? If you dont like Christians/muslims or whatever faith your having a problem with… why log in to this section other than to cause a bickering session? I mean if you want to talk lets talk… but it dosnt have to be about seeing if “you can rile someone up” or “yank a Christians chain”…. As I said im not bashing at all but it seems to me that many of these people that get upset about having a religious response to their question are the same type that would go to a movie theater and be suprised its dark……. no vulgarity or slams please… this is not intended as a slam or bash but to see if we can get some actual intelligent conversation that might benifit someone. Thank you and God bless.
JT…. i dont remember ever saying “i dont know” means God did it.
You must have me confused with someone else.

I am in a slight rush these days but I want to have this on here. It is far from painless to stick to a great writing plan but I want to make it habitual. Hopefully later on I might write on this website even more regularly. Right this moment I need to tell you about a great piece of content I located on tire chains. It is actually very interesting.

4 reasons to use tire chains this year

So I was out and about today, picking up a few odds and ends at my local Wallyworld, when I saw the seasonal display of artificial Christmas tree’s prequipped with lights and ornaments, all thoughtfully arranged and accented with tinsel and beautifully designed to give you that feeling of semi-synthetic holiday cheer. At that moment It hit me abruptly like a brick in the face, winter is coming.

The feeling of dread rushed through my body as If I had just shot an IV full of tiny shards of glass in the biggest vain in my neck. Now please don’t take me for a Grinch, I love the holidays, honestly I am festive like a mofo, I just would like them to occur during a warmer time of the year. Winter means chapped lipped, dry skin, heating bills, snow shoveling, bitterly cold morning ( which are always coldest when you have to get straight out of bet), congestion, missing gloves, and most terribly winter driving.

Tire chains are just what they sound like, metal linked chains affixed to the tires of vehicles in order to provide traction when driving through snow and ice and are a great alternative to snow tires and in my opinion are the better option for winter conditions for several reasons:

Cost :Tire chains can cost anywhere from 30 to 150 dollars a set where snow tires start at around 65 and could cost your well into a few hundred dollars.
Convenience: Its either gonna cost you a pretty penny or a few hours to install snow tires while decent quality tire chains ( like the Grip pictured at the begging of the this post ) can be installed in just a few moments, meaning you can take them on and off when needed.
Portability: Tire chains can be stored in your glove box or trunk easily they hardly take up any room, making them easy to always have on hand .
Better Traction in deeper snow, which is great if you live in a community like mine, where roads are not cleared right away if at all.

I like info,info graphics,documentaries, did I mention info graphics!

I love DIY and crafts, I am always in the middle of a project.

I love Doctor Who!

I have a blog called Protips Daily. Check it out if you want.

Here is a second go, now with tire chains.

Square Alloy cross chains allows for added traction and durability. Square link provides the traction of the v-bar without the added profile of a welded v. The square design wears more evenly, unlike the twisted link that wears only on its high points.
Question by gws35: As Europe descends into full meltdown, does anybody still think socialism is working in Europe?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101018/ap_on_go_ot/eu_france_retirement_strikes

Oil workers, youths, truckers defy French govt
“French oil workers defied the government’s demand Monday to get back to work and end fuel shortages, stepping up their fight against President Nicolas Sarkozy’s retirement reforms, as youths faced off against riot police and truckers joined the protests.

“Airlines, meanwhile, were told to drastically cut back their flights into France on Tuesday, when the next national street protests are planned, and severe disruptions to air travel, public transport, schools and other facilities are expected.

“Strikers have blockaded a dozen French refineries and numerous oil depots in the last week as part of the widespread protests over Sarkozy’s plan to raise the retirement age to 62, which the French Senate will debate on Wednesday.

“Fearful motorists have flocked to gas stations in panic and found many empty, while aviation authorities told short-haul planes coming in from other European destinations to bring enough fuel to get back.

“Striking workers piled up tires and set them ablaze Monday in front of a refinery at Grandpuits, east of Paris, after authorities issued a legal order insisting that some strikers reopen the facility. Workers said they would refuse, as curls of heavy black smoke wafted into the air.

“Other employees and residents formed a “human chain” to prevent the refinery workers from entering the plant, and union leaders said they expected police to intervene.

“Dozens of oil tankers remained stuck in the Mediterranean, anchored outside Marseille’s two oil ports, where workers have been on strike for more than three weeks to protest a planned port reform as well as the retirement changes.”

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20101016/wl_nm/us_germany_merkel_immigration

Merkel says German multiculturalism has failed
“Germany’s attempt to create a multicultural society has “utterly failed,” Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Saturday, adding fuel to a debate over immigration and Islam polarizing her conservative camp.

“Horst Seehofer, chairman of the Christian Social Union (CSU), the CDU’s sister party, … said last week there was no room in Germany for more people from “alien cultures.”
”

Does anybody think this is where the USA is headed if the Democrat regime remains in power?
Let Reason Rule, so does this mean socialism and multiculturalism are incompatible? Hmmm, maybe THAT’S what the liberals have been doing wrong…
Disco Stu, they are in shock. They’re afraid if they mention those countries, then those countries will fall into chaos next.

The liberals really don’t have a clue, they don’t want to be proven wrong again.

Canterbury, NH (PRWEB) November 24, 2010

CP Innovations announces the first power angle snow plow for forklifts. By utilizing existing equipment, businesses can minimize snow removal costs and take charge of their commercial snow plowing needs.

Whether it’s big snow, a difficult lot or the need to plow during business hours, the Chinook Forklift Snow Plow is a serious solution for Commercial Snow Plowing. Fork trucks used in daily operations switch from working inside, to snow removal outside. And, it’s as simple as lifting a pallet.

The Chinook Forklift Snow Plow was created, in part, to clear snow from areas too difficult for a pick-up to handle. Piling snow, turning on a dime and getting close to obstacles are not the virtues of a typical plow truck… Chip Phinney of CP Innovations, LLC developer of the Chinook Fork Plow says “You need to see it… it’s really cool… everyone’s surprised by what it can do.”

Featuring a 7 ft plow blade expandable to almost 9 ft, the Chinook Fork Plow is built to handle the most demanding winters. Its versatility is endless. From clearing roads and parking lots to plowing areas that normally need to be hand shoveled.

Available in two models, Power Angle which employs the side shift hydraulics to actuate the plow blade and a Manual Angle model operated from the cab. Both options simply slip onto the fork tines of most fork trucks, ready to plow at the operators’ convenience. Ken Blackford of Arc-works.net who owns a small, older fork truck with solid tires, says “It works great… I’m actually amazed!”

CP Innovations also offers carbide tipped traction screws as an alternative to rough riding tire chains. Originally developed for automobile ice racing, these traction screws provide a smooth ride as they grip the ice and snow.

CP Innovations, LLC is a web based company that manufactures Chinook Fork Plows and ships all products direct to their customers in the US and Canada.

Back on the net once more even after my unique power went kaput. I dont have a great deal to speak about but I managed to find this tire chains blog post today. I hope you dig the idea. I wasnt certain about writing this content. Many times I question if a few of such tips are even adequate to publish but I reckon I will take a chance and wish somebody find some benefit in the content.

Putting Up Tire Chains

Installing tire chains can really be an intimidating experience for many motorists. Here are some simple directions to make the job much easier.

Directions
Step 1:
First, it should be determined whether the car is rear-wheel drive or front-wheel drive. Tire chains have to be always installed on the driving wheels.

Step 2:
For troubleshooting, the owner manual can be consulted for any reference related to “class S” or limited clearance for tire chains. If the tires need some clearance product then the service manual can be consulted for more guidance as traditional chains are not meant for your car.

Step 3:
Pull over to the road completely away from the traffic.

Step 4:
Before going under the car, set the emergency brake and turn off the engine. The passengers can stay in the car or can wait away from the traffic at a safe place.

Step 5:
The next step is to lay chains flat on the ground to make the each side parallel. Make sure that the links have no twists.

          ]]>

Step 6:
Wrap the chains over each back tire and the speed hook or ‘J hook’ fastener has to be kept inside. A lever fastener with a ‘keeper’ link is on the other side of the chains.

Step 7:
The smooth side of the cross member end hooks should be lying against the tires. These parts will be recognized when the chains are seen.

Step 8:
Behind every tire, the speed hooks have to be fastened by inserting ‘J’ hooks through the third link from the chain’s other end. The slack has to be pulled towards the outside edge of the tire.

Step 9:
Now move the car several feet forward and pull the rest of the slack towards yourself. The lever fasteners has to be inserted through the third links from the opposite ends of the outside chains, the levers have to be pivoted back on themselves and then they have to be fastened under the keeper links.

Step 10:
Drive several feet forward, and then pull all slack out of the chains. Now they have to be refastened as tight as possible. Make sure that there are same numbers of loose links on every side of the chains.

Step 11:
The extra links have to be secured with zip ties or they can be removed with bolt cutters.

Step 12:
To increase the life of the chains, rubber lighteners can be added.

Tips & Precautions
- For protecting your clothes and body from grime and dirt, use a plastic tarp or waterproof canvas. Installing a tire chain is normally not a clean work.
- Tire chains are not very necessary for SUVs and 4×4 vehicles except where the law requires in some places. The traffic rules should be checked to be aware of exceptions for unusual harsh conditions.
- Maximum speed limit suggested in the instructions or on the tire chain box should not be exceeded.

Question by 10 Thousand: Question for behaviorists or behavior analysts?
Hi, I’m just trying to figure out what happened?

Earlier I took a behavior analysis class and thought it was interesting. So one time one of my roommates walked up the stairs. One of my other roommates asked, “Why did he go up the stairs?” I decided to try operant conditioning in a way that I didn’t usually think of being applied in class.

Me, “He went up the stairs because in the past taking the first step up the stairs was reinforced by the opportunity to take the next step up the stairs which was reinforced by the opportunity to take the next step up the stairs until he got up the stairs. We can test this experimentally, for instance lets say each time you make it half way up the stairs and all of a sudden you reappeared back at the bottom of the stairs again? You’d probably give up after a while, or in other words extinction of going up the stairs.”

My roommate, “That’s not creative. Be creative.” I asked him what he thought was creative. Him, “He’s tired. That’s why he went up the stairs.”

So check this out, I went to Google and typed in << stairs AND "He's tired." >> including those quotes around He’s tired, and 24,200 results came up. Then Googled << stairs AND operant conditioning >> and 4,570 results came up. Then I tried << stairs AND "behavior chaining" >> and 62 results came up.

Was that really that unoriginal, or was something wrong?

Best answer:

Answer by Annabelle
I think your roommate was being sarcastic, and probably trying to counter your super wit with his own mediocre wit while trying to be funny. I would have laughed.

I am sure in a tiny rush now but I want to have this on here. It is not at all very easy to stick to a great posting plan but I want to allow it to become consistent. Eventually down the road I can post to this page even more frequently. Right this moment I just want to tell you about a neat piece I stumbled upon on tire chains. It truly is in some ways interesting.

What You Should Consider With The Purchase Of Snow Tire Chains

Tire mechanism is easy and simple to understand. First of all, the tire chain is properly tied round the rear and front tires of a car using proper metal hooks and holdings. When installing the chain one should be extra careful to ensure that the chain does not slide since it will cause multiple accidents.

When installing most of these chains one does not necessarily have to lift the car or move it. The process begins by pushing the steel hoop at the back of the wheel before lifting its face followed by clipping of the two ends towards the upper part of the tire. However most tire chain dealers help in installing the chains or offer self-help booklets.

During winter extra care is emphasized because ice and snow can cause troubles especially if one has no driving experience in such conditions. Snow chains are a good option for those who find themselves in such situations. The first rule when buying these chains is ensuring that they are fit for the vehicle. After this, one should check with the local law enforcement to ensure the chains are legal in the state.

          ]]>

There are various options to select from when acquiring snow tire chains for cars. The most economical though are cable chains since they are light in weight and provide galvanized steel rollers used for increased traction on cars with minimal fender clearance. The other type is highway chains made of steel with twist link design. They are made for vehicles, which have unrestricted wheel well clearance with the heavy chains providing added durability and traction. Twist link chains are also economical but for vehicles with less clearance.

Another type is the snow grip chains, which are a great option for winter since they offer smooth ride and superior traction. Their square linked designs allow better standing, cornering and stopping compared to other conventional designs. The road king chains have a Y pattern and offer square link design offering one a comfortable drive, yet aggressive, but with less noise and vibration.

Finally yet important is the V-Bar snow chains which offers an aggressive traction for emergency vehicles and snow removal but are not to be used on cars with constrained wheel well clearance. Use of these chains is necessary for safe driving during winter. In most states, it has been made mandatory while driving in freeways and major roads during winter.

Despite the style or brand of snow tire chains one chooses to use, one should make sure the chains are a perfect fit and are properly installed to give the best quality protection for passengers and drivers.

If you have a home in snowy places, you should set a winterize car checklist. snow chains is one thing you ought to include in that list.

Question by My puppy Bennett: What would be a good ending to this story?
Breaking the chain
It was a cold an stormy night as Duke curled into a tight ball. The floor of his doghouse was wet from a big hole in the roof. he shook and shivered from the cold winds, but he just could not get warm.
From the neighbor’s backyard came a loud crash, and Duke looked around to see if anyone was coming in the yard. He heard bottles and cans rolling and papers rustiling, so he started to bark as loud as he could. “shhhhhhhhhhhh,” came a strange voice nearby. “who is it?” asked Duke with a shaky voice. Duke was scared of just about everything. Being chained to his doghouse , he was unable to run from strangers who threw things at him and yelled at him, scary storms like the one tonight, or loud noises coming from the neighbor’s backyard he was always barking for help and sleeping with one eye open. Duke saw somthing moving in the bushes. He smelled something strange and then he saw it… a raccon! The raccon was spinning in circles with something attached to his head. “help me!” cam a muffled sound from the raccon. “help me!” cried the raccon again, this time much louder. Duke reached as far as he could on his chain but couldn’t seem to reach the raccon. “come closer and i will pull off the box,” said Duke. The raccon went very carefully toward the skinny brown dog and hoped that this wasn’t a trick. Duke reach over and with his teeth, bit the box and yanked it off. “thanks!” said the raccon and started to run away. “wait!” cried Duke in a weak and tired voice. “Please come back, I need you!” The raccon turned around and said, “need me? your a dog! You have it made! why would you need me? I have to find food in garbage cans, find shelter wherever i can, and always be on the look out for danger.” Duke sighed and said, “you don’t understand. I just need a friend and someone to talk to. I have been chained out here to this doghouse since i was little. Now this chain is starting to hurt my neck.” “who put you out here?” asked the raccon. “see that family in that house?” asked Duke. “They brought me out here because the said that i was too much trouble.” The raccon looked very confused and asked, “what do you do all day?” “I bark alot. I hope they hear me so mabey they will come out and play with me. I get so hungry and thirsty. This morning, they brought some water in a bowl, but I was too excited to see them that i knocked it over without having any to drink. They called me stupid and just went back in. I am so lonley and scared, and my body hurts all over.” “I’m sorry. I had no idea,” said the raccon. “will you get me off this chain?” asked Duke. ” You helped me when i needed help, but i don’t know how to get you off, or do I! Hold on. I’ll be right back!” said raccon as he ran into the…
How does the raccoon help free Duke? How does Duke feel after he’s free? What happens next?

Best answer:

Answer by Alexandra P
The raccoon gets his “connections,” a wrestling champion raccoon, Bruce and Bruce eats out the metal chain. Duke feels free and runs around and thanks the raccoons and joins them for helping them.
